YES! THAT'S RIGHT! YOU ALL KNOW WHAT IT IS! And we now have the platform for it. Bluetooth and Push To Talk, are laying the foreground for this wonder full piece of communication. I couldn't tell you how many time one of the Captains was saved by such a device!
This sounds like a walkie-talkie. How would you get to choose a specific person? I would assume you would merely say, "call (whoever)". Anyway, I don't see this replacing cell phones. If you wore this on your shirt, you would have to remember to take it off each day, or make it waterproof and have one for each shirt. For the future of communication, I would have to go with something like we did for our presentation.
ReplyDeletei don't know about this one?
ReplyDeleteto me it looks too much like a star trek prop, but the there are alot of trekies out there that will say "see we've had it all along "
to wear a mode of communication on my clothes ? i know i'd forget it, at least until after i did the laundry.
I doubt this is a product that will actually sell. It is interested to see that science fiction of yesterday is the technology of today. If that pace continues I know I'll be seeing some pretty interesting things in not too distant future.
ReplyDeleteI don't know this looks really weird. And I agree with Matthew I would forget that is on my clothing and there is goes communication from the washer or the dryer. It looks like something from outer space or something. I agree I would go with something like the device that was presented to us in class that goes in the ear.
ReplyDeleteHey Dude we're there already! We have something like this already in operation, ever see a cop turn his head to talk on his communicator or walkie by clicking on a button on his belt or sleeve, it's much like the captain did, Well he didn't actually say beam me up, but I heard him say he needed back up.
ReplyDeleteYeah I don't see myself purchasing something like this. I agree with previous posters about this looking like something from star trek.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for my cellphone to be able to tell me the concentration of nitrogen in the air, zap an alien monster, and then give the coordinates of my location of my personal transport unit.
ReplyDeleteI would totally rock one of those star trek style communicators! I look forward to seeing where this technology goes in the future.
ReplyDeleteIm not sure exactly the reference you are making but it seems you are relating it to star trek? well i think blue tooth technology will definitely increase! and reach new limits!
