We have a long way to go before we have anything close to "eHealthcare." Currently barely any of the vitally important puzzle pieces of the health care world even fit together, let alone know the other pieces exist. Personal physician records, hospital records, and lab results are still in the stone age in many offices. This paperwork is still actually paper, and has no way of getting to another office without being copied and hand delivered to another physician. The day all of this information is in a secure database that is accessible by those mentioned above is the day we get closer to having "eHealthcare."
